CleanEx Ascot: Inspiring kick-off for new activities

Arriving at the Ascot Racecourse is allways an experience. The impressive complex is breathtaken, especially in spring time. The UK 2022 show for professional Laundries & Drycleaners itself was a meeting point for old and new personal encounters. The show was cancelled 2 years ago because of Corona. Now it was the first industry event in the UK (and Europe for that matter) to receive visitors from all over the country. People often came with a specific purpose and were enthousiastic about meeting each other again.

 Kick-Off
So, the atmosphere was excellent. Especially the sunday afternoon was busy under pleasant weather conditions. The second day (as usal) the number of visitors was a little less. The organisation did not provide visitor numbers yet. However, as always, the show was well organised by Mark & Tina Gleed and the team of LCT.

Suppliers and visitors alike, were positive to discuss new initiatives and changing market demands. The after Corona and new market dynamics, inspired entrepreneurs to develop new products and services over the last period. New press free finishers with over 25% improved productivity of Sankosha, new software to support integrated processing, a concept of new fire resistant cleaning of Böwe, etc. Also existing services, like the excellent GCL education and training materials, solvent machines and high quality finishing equipment of German, Italian and Dutch suppliers received good interest. In short, a good event for new business perspectives.
