After this course you will:
Have a basic understanding of different solvents
- know the major physical and chemical properties and safety aspects of perchloroethylene, hydrocarbon, siloxane D5, acetal and glycol ether solvents
- have a basic understanding of cleaning processes of perchloroethylene, hydrocarbon, siloxane D5, acetal and glycol ether solvents
- have a basic understanding of spotting processes
- know how to treat the most common spots
- know the basic principles of detergency
- know the different types of detergents
Have a basic understanding of different dry cleaning machine
- have a basic knowledge and understanding of specific machine technology of perchloroethylene, hydrocarbon, siloxane D5, acetal and glycol ether solvents
- have a basic knowledge of leakage prevention and good prevention practices
- have a basic knowledge of good solvent storage practices
- have a basic understanding of solvent recycling
- know the do’s and don’ts to prevent solvent emission to the environment and health risks
- know the basic principles and demands of contact water treatment
Creating "Masters in PTC"
After completing the entire Business School program you will receive the title 'Master in PTC'. This includes the course material of all three levels: Starter (level C), Operational Excellence (level B) and Management (level A), in combination with the practical training (C, B), followed by the corresponding exams.
Upon preference you can choose to study via 24/7 e-learning in combination with the practical training, or personal workshops/webinars in combination with practical training. Both paths lead to the title 'Master in PTC'.
