Laundry-on-Demand Growth: Huge Surge in New Customers (215%) for Oxwash UK

OXWASH has seen a huge surge in new customers by 215% as businesses and consumers seek alternatives to their usual laundry services. This comes in a context in which staff shortage in UK laundries causes a limited service capacity and prices increase.

Oxwas, a laundry based on the “on-demand” model, serves clients such as the NHS, luxury fashion rental businesses such as HURR, My Wardrobe HQ, Something Borrowed, Rotaro amongst others, as well as consumers.  The company was founded in 2018, when co-founder and ex-NASA scientist Dr Kyle Grant was completing his Synthetic Biology PhD at the University of Oxford. He joined forces with by Oxford engineer Tom de Wilton in a company that became one of UK’s fastest-growing laundry-on-demand businesses.
