Robert Stelling, the new Exhibition Manager of INTERCLEAN

Robert Stelling was appointed INTERCLEAN’s Exhibition Manager, following the announcement of Rob den Hertog’s retirement. After sixteen years of Interclean, Rob den Hertog remains involved in the international show’s activity.

The most recent INTERCLEAN edition was in 2020 in a challenging pandemic context, when the organisers decided to set up an online streaming version of the event. It was a succesful shift, with attendees from over 120 countries watching 81 sessions from November 3rd to November 6th with 136 experts’ keynote presentations. More than 7,000 professionals signed up for the virtual platform and made, in total, more than 20,000 connections in four days.

According to INTERCLEAN Amsterdam organizers, the goals of facilitating networking, stimulating business and providing the stage for innovation were reached. Meanwhile, creating more opportunities online is a big advantage and also that the desire for an in-person event is still very much alive.

During the online event, CINET and the RAI Amsterdam organized a virtual professional laundry conference , streamed live on November 6th from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The conference was focused on ‘Best Practices = Safe & Sustainable Profit’ for stakeholders in commercial laundry
