Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo postponed to December 22-24, 2021

The 2021 edition of Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA & CLE) will now take place from 22 – 24 December instead of its original late-September date. The postponement is due to
uncertainty around participants being able to travel to Shanghai at this time, as China continues with its anti-epidemic measures following an increase in Covid cases in late-July.
Following discussions with the fair’s stakeholders, the organisers of TXCA & CLE made the decision to delay the event until December to provide more certainty to participants in their preparation. Taking the government’s guidelines for pandemic containment into account, it was deemed preferable to delay the fair until later in the year to ensure all exhibitors and visitors will be able to travel to Shanghai. With new dates already confirmed with the fairground, the organisers will now focus their efforts on providing the best possible trading platform for the textile laundry, leather care, cleaning technology and equipment sectors. Additional public health measures will also be put in place during this year’s edition. These include real identity pre-registration, entry checkpoints to verify the digital health code of all participants and onsite temperature scans. Frequent sanitisation of facilities will take place, and distancing measures will be implemented for seminar attendees.

TXCA & CLE will remain at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre for the new December dates. This annual event is organised by the China Laundry Association and the China Light Industry Machinery Association, as well as Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Unifair Exhibition Service Co Ltd.

The 2020 edition of Texcare Asia and China Laundry Expo 2020 was held from 14–16th October at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The three-day fair presented the latest  technologies and products from the textile care industry and gathered a total of 14,413 visitors and 122 exhibitors, supporting market recovery and boosting market confidence through its platform despite the uncertainties that the industry has faced. To deliver its exhibition content to a wider audience, for the first time, TXCA & CLE implemented an “online + offline” experience. The two-day livestream attracted 8,297 views.
