Joint Venture Company “STAHL” & “Wasmaatic”

STAHL, a 109 years old family owned company welcomed guests to the official grand opening of its Joint Venture Company “STAHL Laundry Machine India Private Limited” & a dedicated training academy under the name “Wasmaatic Academy for Professional Fabric Care”, in Pune, India in partnership with Wasmaatic of India, last week on 28th August, 2016.

The new JV company is established to support fast growing customer base of STAHL in Asian markets.

The opening ceremony was a daylong event where more than 35 laundries and over 100 visitors across the country visited and were presented with know-how on most modern machines, customer support systems and were introduced to organized training and development program under “Wasmaatic Academy for Professional Fabric Care” in an agreement with the World of PTC Business School, India from CINET.

The new office has fully functional laundry set up for live demonstrations along with simulator models for technical know-how, it shows commitment STAHL offers to its end users and channel partners.

The live demonstration facility offers its customers not only a place to see machines under practical working conditions but also offers opportunity to attend marketing seminars, product training and going one step ahead, customers are encouraged to use this facility for cross training also by forming local support groups. Here customers, installation engineers, planners, sales partners can gain shop floor experience of laundry working for understanding the essentials of laundry design also.

The Training and development initiaves by “Wasmaatic Academy for Professional Fabric care” in association with the World of PTC Business School India shows commitment to the professional development of growing commercial laundry market in India as the country so far lacks any organized platform for training so far.

Customers can benefit from chemical training workshops, operational workshops and learn about new developments in practical wet cleaning.

Various learning programs and workshops will be offered under the umbrella of the World of PTC Business School India under an agreement with “Wasmaatic Academy for professional fabric care”.

A special reference was made to participation by three Laundries from India in the Global Best Practices Awards organized by CINET during Texcare 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany and Mr. Uwe STAHL felicitated the representatives of these laundries on behalf the Indian Laundry Industry with a message to the present guests and through this press release to the entire Indian industry to take steps towards modernizing their plants and systems to the world level and invest in training and development.

In a joint statement Mr., Uwe Stahl and Mr. Rajev S Kumar, emphasized that the development is significant not only for Indian market but for the entire Asia market as at a practical level benefits of energy savings, & water saving technologies leading to reducing carbon foot print can be demonstrated and in near future more laundries will adopt such initiatives.

As a family owned company STAHL has been always personally available to its users and partners and with new India facility, we are even closer.
