First stop: INTERCLEAN Amsterdam, April 14-17, 2026
We started with a fantastic edition at INTERCLEAN Amsterdam in April 2026. Among the highlights was a full AI Conference Day on April 16, where the CINET AI Expert Program was showcased in depth, including expert speakers, practical case studies and the presentation of the new CINET AI Award. An AI Code of Conduct was introduced and an AI (Hand-out) Manual was compiled, including the experiences and learnings of 14 AI-projects.

EXPO DETERGO Milan — October 22-23, 2026
The GBPA 26 Awards event takes place around EXPO DETERGO, the leading international Professional Textile Care trade fair, held every four years at Fiera Milano. The previous edition in 2022 attracted more than 17,000 professional visitors from 106 countries, alongside approximately 250 international suppliers. EXPO DETERGO is the premier global showcase for innovation in laundry, dry cleaning and textile service technology.
GBPA 26 Convention Program
At EXPO DETERGO the GBPA 26 Convention Program will include Key-Topics sessions on the most issues facing the industry, Best Practice Pitches from around 60 finalists across four categories, and the Official Award Ceremony with drinks and finger food, where the Overall, Innovation and Sustainability Awards for all four categories will be presented.
Additionally the Official Presentation of the GLOBAL PTC Strategy Study – Roadmap 2050 is planned!

The Key Topics Expert sessions will provide international industry professionals, highlights of short- & long-term trends & opportunities, as identified in the CINET PTC Strategy Study – Roadmap 2050! CINET GLOBAL BEST PRACTICES AWARDS 2026
On Day 2, some 60 finalists from around the world present their three-minute Best Practice Pitches across four categories. An independent international jury personally evaluates each pitch on the day. The day concludes with the Official GBPA 26 Award Ceremony with drinks and bites, where the Overall, Innovation and Sustainability Awards for all four categories are presented alongside special awards.

Global Best Practices Awards 2026 — Competition
Competition Categories 2026
PTC companies worldwide are invited to participate in one of four categories. Thanks to digital translation, participants can use 200 languages upon their choice.

- Industrial Textile Services (ITS)
CRITERIA
The International, independent GBPA 2026 Jury evaluates the participating companies upon the following 5 criteria: Quality, Sustainability, Business Model & Service Concept, Innovation and Keynote. Below you can find more details on each criteria the Global Awards 2026 Nominees must meet:
- Quality; Skills and knowledge are important to maintain professional textile care quality. A continuous quality that meets customers’ expectations is of the utmost importance. Training & education and labor policy are the basic of quality. Certification, if available, can enhance the quality approval of a professional textile care company.
- Sustainability; Implementation of best practices is the key for safe & sustainable processing. Using modern equipment, operation, optimal working methodologies enhance safe and sustainable professional textile cleaning and/or laundering.
- Business model & Service concept; Meeting customers’ demands of specific markets requires a clear business model for textile cleaning & textile service companies to offer the best value proposition. The right services, contributing to the ease and convenience of customers / end-users and fitting into the chosen business model is therefore important. Marketing is required to communicate the key message of textile cleaning / textile services.
- Innovation; The world is changing and so is the market demand, therefore innovations are important to cope with changing customer demands on quality and services, legislation and environmental requirements. What are the innovations of the textile cleaning / textile service company?
- Key-note; Own presentations, explanation, visualization and substantiating why the company should win the award.

For participation in the GPBA26 CINET has installed a Registration Portal for GBPA 26 Participants. This will assist you to provide all information and photo’s, as well as facilitates communication. All requirements, procedures and conditions can be found there as well.
Jury and Procedure
The finalists are reviewed by the international, independent GBPA 26 Jury, comprising some 20 international PTC experts. Each jury member evaluates the pitches personally and awards a maximum of 20 points per criterion, with a maximum of 100 points per nominee. The highest combined score wins.
