PTC WORLD CONGRESS & BEST PRACTICES AWARDS 24:
PRACTICAL INSIGHTS & UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES!
Ophemert, September 13th, 2024 – After the Summer break the 35 Co-Host Associations, IDC & CINET, prepare for the upcoming World Congress & Best Practices Awards 24 event November 8 -9 in the Europe Hall of Messe Frankfurt.
It is expected to become a spectacular event with hundreds of visitors and participants from over 60 countries. The Co-hosts have met at an ONLINE meeting September 10th last, to discuss the FINAL Program once more and explain further preparations for meeting personally in Frankfurt, getting NEW business ideas and start international cooperations.
NOVEMBER 8: PTC WORLD CONGRESS
In the early morning at 8.00 hrs. CET the delegates assemble to meet and join the Opening Ceremony, followed by PTC HIGHLIGHTS from Experts worldwide introduced by moderator Mr. Mischa van den Broeck M.Sc. These are followed by Key-Note Speakers Prof. Dr. Heimann on Sustainability/Circularity opportunities and Mr. Sanjay Sauldie M.Sc. on Artificial Intelligence, now and in the future. This session will be finalized by International Suppliers sharing their visions on available technologies in the (near) future.
Personal Encounters
The program has been especially designed to facilitate a lot of personal encounters for National Associations, Professional Textile Care Companies, International Suppliers, Consultants and Experts. Personal introductions on stage combined with Informal talks around the sessions with international professionals, like yourself, from other countries.
Inspiring Interactive Talks
In the afternoon, with help of experienced moderators, the organization has planned six Interactive Round Table Talks on the following topics:
- PTC Sustainability/Circularity
- Innovation & Artificial Intelligence
- Attractive Labor
- Consumer Services
- BtoB Services
- Hygienically Clean Textile Service.
Per session there will be brief introductions from the moderator and opinions & views of
5 -6 Experts covering insights and practical suggestions on how to support and extend business development. These sessions will be streamed (partially) as well in 11 languages.
20 PTC Country Reports
The Co-Hosts are preparing Country Reports to provide an open impression on current market characteristics, new initiatives of associations & companies to support business development and visions on new opportunities. Sharing these insights is expected to lead to new international cooperations stimulating new business developments.
MEET & GREET
Starting 17.00 hrs. CET all participants of the GLOBAL Best Practices Awards 24 will be introduced by the country coordinators personally. Followed by a cocktail and a “Delegation Dinner”.
NOVEMBER 9: GLOBAL BEST PRACTICES AWARDS 24
All participants, finalists & official nominees, as well as visitors are welcomed for an exciting day of some 50 Pitch Presentations of Finalists in the Categories Retail Sme, Retail Big and Industrial Textile Services. The Best Showcases of the world are presenting their innovations and new services to grow businesses in fast changing markets. The kick-off will be made by Industrial Textile Services Companies (ITS).
Innovations & New Technologies
At the end of the morning International Suppliers will present their latest new products and services designed to support your business development. New chemicals, cleaning methodologies, new machineries and systems, IT solutions, etc.
Retail Showcases (RTC)
After the break the Retail Pitches will be presented. First by the RTC- Sme companies followed by the RTC-Big companies. Also these Pitch presentations can be followed online in 11 languages. The Finalists will be announced mid-October next.
Prestigious Awards
For all Categories Prestigious Awards are waiting. Certificates for all confirmed participants. Country Awards, Special Awards, Life Time Awards, Entrepreneur Awards, Corporate Social Responsibility Awards and of course the Sustainability, Innovation and Overall Awards per Category. These are provided to the companies who are given the highest scores by a 20-25 persons International Jury. PR-Packages, Certificates and photos will be provided as well.
FLAG Ceremony
Meanwhile the famous Flag Ceremony has gained a lot of appreciation worldwide. All winners are respected and valued for their performances in the PTC industry. The Country Coordinators have made this happen by their great contribution in liaising with the participants. The overall Country Winner will carry the National Flag to the podium, representing her/his country. Of course drinks and finger food will be made available for celebrating and congratulating all participants and winners. All scores are published later on the same day.
Program information
The CINET website will provide update latest information on the Program, Participants, Event Partners, Organization, Tickets, etc. This is offered in 100Plus languages. There you also can find profiles of all participants and practical information for visitors. Prior to the event you can follow the Newsletters, Specials on Key Topics and mailings, which are mailed to a global audience of professionals. Some weeks before the event a digital Catalog will be distributed. This Catalog will also be made available on the CINET website for providing information during the show. All Pitches & Presentations will be made available on WOPCOM.

This event is organized by CINET in cooperation with IDC and Messe Frankfurt, as well as some 35 Co-Host National Associations/Organizations and some 20 Country Coordinators. It is a clear aim, also for CINET, to develop further international cooperation on all levels and areas.
