In a recent news release, Jensen USA reported to have appointed 2 new executives. Tony Biela is assigned to the position of President and Carlos Fernandes is promoted to Senior VP of Sales. The two new executives will replace Simon Nield, as from January 1, 2023.
Tony Biela started working for the company in 2019 as VP Finance. He has added great value to the US business operations based on his broad cross-cultural expertise and his experience from executive roles with former employers. His main focus will be leading the transformation of the company’s operations.
Carlos Fernandes has been serving the laundry industry for more than 37 years. As Senior Vice President of Sales, he is expected to offer a wide knowledge of the company’s product line combined with an excellent understanding of customer service and relationships.
These changes follow Simon Nield’s decision to step back from his current role as the company’s President. He was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and has chosen to focus more of his energy on his personal well-being. However, he will continue to support the management team as President Emeritus.
