With the takeover of Horst Balk Wascherei- & Elektrotechnik in Koblenz, Germany-based ECOTEX has become an Electrolux Professional sales and service partner. The company has over 55 years of experience in advising and planning industrial laundries and in the assembly, instruction and commissioning of a selected range of machines.
Earlier this year, the company adopted the complete laundry range from Electrolux Professional. As a result, the focus can shift more to laundry projects, such as hospitals, nursing and retirement homes, social institutions and technical support services, according to CEO Thomas Michaeli. He states that by concentrating on long-lasting, reliable and economical laundry solutions, the company aims at making the everyday life of a laundry more sustainable and user-friendly.
Michaelis also believes that the Electrolux Professional devices could not only help in meeting this target, but also improve user satisfaction thanks to their ergonomic design. At the same time, the company’s machine competence in the industrial and semi-professional area has been significantly expanded thanks to the cooperation. As a result, the company will now also be able to implement complex laundry projects – such as with high hygiene requirements – from planning to implementation.
