18 new INDIA MASTERS IN PTC!

Mr. Suresh D. Bathia (DLAI President) opened on behalf of the Board of the Dry Cleaners & Launderers Association of India (DLAI) the 4th and last meeting of the successful DLAI Summer Tour 2023. On behalf of CINET CEO Peter Wennekes welcomed the guests and encouraged all participants to exchange business developments and take part in the interactive program. Lively discussions and answers to all questions were promised and realized. Just in a week a full day program designed and organized by CINET was presented in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Lucknow in the period July 17-23, 2023.

Nationwide PR
Some 100 plus companies, as well as India online participants, came to participate in an extensive program focusing on after COVID market challenges, advanced modern PTC processing, innovations, sustainability projects, human resource management and strategies for new business models, adapted to specific customer target groups. The Summer Tour was covered by several India Media to profile the transition of the India Laundry Industry into a more modern sector, servicing consumers but also hospitals, hospitality and industrial sectors professionally.
India up to International standards

CINET CEO Mr. Peter Wennekes and an International Team of experts including CINET qualified trainers Mrs. Gabriella Deme and Mrs. Ana Stoica, supported by (inter-)national suppliers Electrolux Professional, Orgaearth and IFB, as well as 12 professionals from the international drycleaning and laundry industry (online), presented International standards in Modern Professional Textile Care. DLAI developed this initiative to reach out to the India PTC industry, providing international and national expertise and knowledge to support their members in business development.
EAGER INTEREST for Modern education and practical training
The program touched briefly on the available extensive E-Learning materials in THE WORLD OF PTC BUSINESS SCHOOL of CINET. Modern drycleaning, wet-cleaning, finishing, commercial laundering, IT and AI techniques were presented and discussed with a deep interest. The call for more and also practical training was frequently expressed and will be included in a program of new workshops in the months to come.
Showcases
The Winners of the Global Best Practices Awards 2022 in Milan from EU: LAVANS Textile services, USA: Jan’s Professional Drycleaners and CHINA: FORNET, presented their companies ON-LINE, after an Interview with Mr. Geert Boettger on market dynamics in India and worldwide. At the Global Best Practices in Milan 2022 also three India participants: Beepee Puretex, Tumbledry and Laundrokart presented their company. The business cases were presented for discussion and feedback and well received.
60 days Free E-Learning

Participants were offered a Free 60 days of E- Learning of their choice out of 6 Packages of the CINET extensive E-Learning Program in Retail Textile Cleaning and Industrial Textile Services for Starters, Excellence or Management. A great majority of attendants applied and their choices will be made available this week on-line.
60 Days Free PTC Wopcom Platform
Also the Wopcom Platform was made available for 60 days for FREE. Wopcom offers an extensive database of industry knowledge and data, covering reports, studies, publications, et cetera.

18 India Masters in Professional Textile Care

The delegates were offered a MASTER IN PROFESSIONAL TEXTILE CARE exam to become the first India Masters, which was completed by 18 India professionals successfully over participants in all cities. A great achievement and well appreciated initiative for the attendants, which caused great enthusiasm.
