It’s been an incredible adventure in the first 12 months where we welcomed over 2000 customers and processed 25.000+ garments. Step by step Fornet is supporting more customers to give their wardrobe longer life. In detail: from all garments that came in we successfully cleaned >7500 stained items and repaired over 800 garments. Following the Handbook of Life Cycle Assessment of Textiles it equals 45.405 kg CO2 savings.

Next steps:
1. Install new machines to process the increasing demand for ‘wash & fold’. With this service our customers outsource the annoying weekly laundry chore of washing, drying & folding their daily clothes. This innovative service represented already 20% of our sales in the first year.
2. Open a new shop in Amsterdam. With the success of the first shop in a business district we can start exploring new locations in residential or commercial areas.
3) Launch franchising proposition. Since Fornet is a brand with 79% of the 1900+ stores in a franchise relation, we plan to start (inter)national franchising as well.
