TEXCARE FRANCE; Rendez-vous with Professionals, Excellent Forum & Show in Modern PTC

Paris, November 27

The organizers of the first edition of the TEXCARE FRANCE show can be satisfied. As expected some 1.500 professional visitors, mainly from French speaking countries, were registered over three days. All seem to be happy with the show. Also the participating suppliers responded positively. The number of visitors was in line with the JET Show of four years ago, in spite of the fact that the French market, as also other European markets, is much more condensed with less companies.

Suppliers in key area’s
Some 50 suppliers, of which 40% international, as well as associations and experts gave a good insight of technology development and represented a wide variety of international brands. Only the international brands for textile services were not exhibiting but personally present. Talks with these specialists are extremely useful for investments and problem solving in retail textile cleaning and (industrial) laundries alike.

Africa: the new Eldorado for manufacturers, one of the round table discussions, was focusing on the current situation in French speaking Africa and the perspectives for the short and medium term future. Northern African countries need support to set up new businesses, attract youngsters to learn the jobs. They need to adopt the knowledge to provide professional services to hospitals, hotels and consumers. Very important also is to get technicians to understand the needs to maintain and repair machineries and systems. This is a requirement for setting up stable companies and secure investments. The panel covered the current situation and explained the needs to enable African people to build up a PTC industry.
