Girbau has recently celebrated its 105 years of history with an event at its headquarters in Vic, Spain. Here, Joan Girbau began with a small workshop for electromechanical equipment in 1920. Since then, the company has developed into a global brand in more than 100 countries, with a community of professionals who maintain the core values it was founded on: innovation, closeness, commitment, and long-term vision.
The event brought together the headquarters team, their families, and the presidents of the group’s 16 international subsidiaries. The participants toured the production centres together to get a close look at the company’s technological evolution and its focus on sustainability and industrial innovation. Thus, the gathering was also a celebration of creativity and team spirit.
The event featured live musical performances, a roller-skating show, and a unique moment in which the company’s HS washers became moving works of art, symbolising the fusion of industry and art that symbolises the company. One of the most special moments was the arrival of a cake created by the master chocolatier and World Chocolate Masters winner Lluc Crusellas. A sweet ending to a wonderful day.
