Africa Best Practices Awards May 21 -22 2024, Abidjan, Ivory-Coast At TEXCARE France CINET and the African Federation of Textile Care Professionals signed a cooperation agreement, including membership and co-Hosting of AFTCP of the WORLD CONGRESS & BPA 24 event.

Part of this agreement is the organization of the first Africa Best Practices Awards 24 organized May 21 and 22 during the FAPET show in Abidjan Ivory Coast. Participants over 10 African countries will participate in this prestigious Program in the categories Retail SME, Retail Big and Industrial laundries. The winners will receive their awards May 22 in the FAPET Program. The African Winner will be invited to represent Africa and their Country in the Global Best practices Awards November 2024 at Texcare International in Frankfurt, Germany.

Master Workshop Abidjan

Official Africa Nominees and participants of this Award program are also invited to participate in the FAPET Master Program for Africa Textile Care Professionals May 21 st in a Textile Cleaning Company in Abidjan. This workshop will cover PTC Retail / Industrial Excellence Operational knowledge and expertise, ending up with an exam to become the first African Masters In PTC. An extra award will be granted to the best African Professional 2024.

FAPET Show

The second Edition of the FAPET show will be organized May 22 -24 in the Radisson Blu Abidjan Airport Hotel in Ivory Coast. Main Focus of this event is to stimulate Youngsters to start working in the Laundry industry and/or start a business of their own. The event will focus on:

  • Stimulating Knowledge on Hygienical Cleaning for, for instance, Hospitals
  • Set up of laundries specially for the Hospitality sector
  • Digitization of industrial laundry services for an improved performance and higher customer satisfaction.
  • Optimizing of Chemical dosing.
