JENSEN introduced six years ago the automation of the soil sort with robotics and AI through their partner Inwatec ApS, and they believe that laundries should embrace this modern technology for its numerous sustainable benefits: a safer work environment, reduced energy consumption, plus extended life spans of textiles and equipment.

Jensen states that this approach is an absolute game changer that is lifting the entire industry to a next level, making it more attractive for all stakeholders. It’s a giant leap forward in terms of operational efficiency and a profound commitment to sustainability. Jensen is convinced that one day soon, robots in the reception area of the laundry will be as standard as a tunnel washer or an integrated finishing line. Mr. Jesper Jensen believes that the industry shouldn’t have any people working in the soil sort anymore; it’s simply not a nice place to work.

Six years later, they are gearing up to expand Inwatec’s manufacturing capacities with a second factory in Odense/Denmark, to meet the increasing demand, ensuring that laundries are equipped for the future.
