Lavans Proud!
When we were told that Lavans can call itself the best laundry in the world for two years, we were proud. As the crowning glory of our hard work, as the icing on the cake, we were named winner of the Industrial Textile Services (ITS) category by CINET.
After the first weekend full of congratulations on social media, the many apps and phone calls, our colleagues were put in the spotlight on Monday. In the canteen of the head office, we toasted to winning the prize and took our colleagues to Milan via a vlog. How was it there? How does such a thing work? Of course, our colleagues from the various service centers were also surprised. They also received a piece of cake and celebrated their own party on location. After all, together we ensured that the first prize came to the Netherlands.
Outside the internal party, we noticed that many people and organizations thought of us. The flowers continued to flow in the first few days, so that the management handed out the flowers to colleagues. Because no matter how big our building in Helmond is, there was no vase or free space to be found!
The first storm has passed and we are still proud. However, we remain down-to-earth Dutch people and have both feet on the ground. As soon as we start to look like a ‘normal’ company, we have to get to work. Behind the scenes we are therefore still in full swing with winning the title, but in the foreground our customers and our people are still central. Because we like to offer everyone a carefree working environment. Together we are worth gold.
