The JENSEN-GROUP sets a new milestone in order intake, driving record revenue and profit Growth

The JENSEN-GROUP reports another record-breaking annual revenue for 2024, reaching 453.2 MEUR, a 13% increase compared to 2023 as well as an order intake 46% higher than last year. This sustained success underscores our commitment to providing robust and productive technology and to targeted capital investments over the past two years.

Investing in a successful future
We have strengthened our global manufacturing footprint by expanding our production facilities worldwide. Since 2020, we have added a total of 30,000 sq.m. of manufacturing space, enabling us to successfully meet market demand.
Additionally, we have intensified our focus on innovation, increasing investments in AI and robotics at Inwatec in Denmark, where an additional plant will be ready by 2026.
Europe remains our largest market, accounting for more than 60% of our revenue, while we have achieved a record revenue in the United States.
Building on this momentum, in July 2024, we further expanded our strategic portfolio by acquiring MAXI-PRESS, a market leader in press cushions and consumables for the heavy-duty laundry industry.

First-Mover advantage
Thanks to Inwatec’s cutting-edge solutions, we are revolutionizing the industry: For the first time, robotics enable the full automation of processes that were previously manual. Soiled linen sorting can now be done entirely automatically, at high speed, and with zero risk to operators in the sorting area.
What was once innovative is now becoming the new standard: AI and robotics are increasingly integral to our production processes and how we deliver solutions to our customers. As a pioneer in the laundry industry, the JENSEN-GROUP has successfully implemented over 150 fully automated soil sorting installations, leveraging robotics and AI. With nearly a decade of expertise in this field, the company is driving the industry’s transformation.

Thinking globally, acting locally
The demand for automation correlates strongly with GDP per capita, making Europe, Japan, and North America our key markets. To support our expanding customer base, we have hired nearly 100 new service engineers across our local sales and service centers. As laundry operations face increasing challenges in recruiting skilled technical staff and as installations become more sophisticated, JENSEN-GROUP is responding with enhanced service offerings. The acquisition of MAXI-PRESS also aligns with our commitment to strengthening our service capabilities.

Outlook
Looking ahead to 2025, we remain focused on strengthening our market position and profitability by capitalizing on our robust order book and project pipeline. Our strategy centers on commercial and operational excellence, customer-centric innovation, and sustainable business practices. By continuously developing new products and services and further optimizing and digitalizing our business processes, we are shaping the future of the laundry industry.
