Laundry technology specialist Kannegiesser has recently announced a generational change in management. After more than three decades, Engelbert Heinz handed over the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to Matthias Schopp.  

Heinz has played a key role in shaping the company’s development over the past 36 years and has made a crucial contribution to the company’s current market position, according to the company. He will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity.

Matthias Schopp holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering and has held various management positions, particularly in management and corporate development. Over the past few months, he has made himself acquainted with the company’s structures and processes and by interaction with various departments and with customers, he has gained deep insights into the company and the industry.
