Standard Textile – a UK-based provider of healthcare and hospitality textiles worldwide – has launched its new Terry Collection made with recycled cotton. The collection is developed with the intention of stimulating circular innovation and sustainability in hospitality and is being introduced in collaboration with Royal Jersey Laundry. This company was established in 1910 and has been serving London’s luxury hospitality sector for over a hundred years.
The new collection is based on using 30% of recycled fibres from pre-consumer cotton and can offer a responsible alternative to traditional terry, focusing on quality or performance. The recycled products are Recycled Claim Standards (RCS)-certified, ensuring traceability in accordance with rigorous environmental and social criteria. In addition to reducing carbon emissions, the recycled collection delivers excellent absorbency, durability and comfort. Each product can be modified in design, size and weight to meet the unique needs of individual hotel properties.
