President Ron Davidson and Chairman of the General Council, Ken Cupitt, representing the Guild at the CleanEx were delighted with the Exhibition this year. It was a great opportunity to meet with members and new faces in the industry and a good opportunity to demonstrate the support, education and training material the Guild provides for the industry. Ken Cupitt stated; “It has been a good two days with plenty of interest shown and a wonderful occasion to meet members and friends from the industry as well.”

At this exhibition the Guild was also representing CINET for acquiring companies from the UK to participate in this exceptional International Event, and with some success. Several applications from retail textile cleaners and industrial laundries were noted and more registrations are expected to come in shortly.
Additionally, the first meeting for organizing a UK Country Report for the World Congress was held. Here the Guild, LCNI Magazine and the Laundry & Cleaning Today/CleanEx are working together to prepare, what is expected to be, an excellent showcase of the UK industry for an international audience of an estimated 25,000 professionals.
