CINET invited for the GBPAP22 also the managing director of the association of textile service providers for the hotel industry, Rolf Slickers, to be part of the jury.
Last month, the former hotelier, along with 17 other jury members from 11 countries, decided on the 30 winners at the CINET Global Best Practices Awards Ceremony in Milan. Rolf Slickers is pleased about the commitment of the colleagues all over the world: “An impressive demonstration of innovative projects and ideas in textile care takes place here every two years, which always inspires and encourages us all.”
“The CINET goal is to modernize the textile care industry worldwide with a focus on sustainability, quality in production and service and innovation. It is also about improving the image and attractiveness of the textile industry,” adds Peter Wennekes, CEO of CINET.
The presentation of the CINET Global Best Practices Awards 2022 was followed by around 250 participants in Milan – and by several thousand industry players worldwide via a live stream. After a whole day of numerous pitches, the jury members determined the winners: three CSR Awards, four Young Entrepreneur Awards and six Entrepreneurship Awards reached all continents worldwide. The Special Lifetime Award was presented to Ken Cupitt of the Guild of Cleaners & Launderers in the UK.
