Standard Textile – a global leader in healthcare and hospitality textiles – has launched its new Terry Collection made with recycled cotton. The collection is being introduced in collaboration with Royal Jersey Laundry – established in 1910 – which has been serving London’s luxury hospitality sector for a long time.
By using 30% of recycled fibres from pre-consumer cotton, the new collection is stated to offer an alternative to traditional terry without diminishing quality or performance. The recycled terry products are Recycled Claim Standards (RCS)-certified, ensuring traceability and adherence to rigorous environmental and social criteria. In addition to reducing carbon emissions, the recycled collection provides excellent absorbency, durability, and comfort. Each product can also be tailored in design, size and weight to meet the needs of individual hotel organisations.
