US-based Alsco Uniforms – a provider of uniform and linen laundry services – reported to have obtained Topper Linen, a textile rental service in the Greater Toronto area in Canada. As part of this transition, this company’s Toronto facility and fleet of delivery trucks will be rebranded as Alsco Uniforms over the coming months.
The acquisition expands Alsco’s operations to two laundry facilities in Toronto, improving its ability to serve industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and food and beverage businesses sectors throughout the region. Alsco Uniforms now has over 80 mixed-processing facilities in North America.
The company will continue to operate both Toronto facilities independently. Current Topper Linen employees will hold their jobs, so that service continuity and local expertise remain prominent in the customer experience.
