Remarkable news from the world of drycleaning and laundry trade shows in the US. The sponsors of the four largest regional drycleaning and laundry trade shows in the country have decided to collaborate in order to strengthen these events.
The South Eastern Fabricare Association, the California Cleaners Association, the Southwest Drycleaners Association, and the Pennsylvania Delaware Cleaners Association intend to co-brand the shows and work together on marketing agreements – although the events will still run independently and retain their local style. As part of the collaboration, the groups have decided to reduce the number of live equipment shows from the traditional four during non-Clean Show years to just two – DLExpo East and DLExpo West.
The Drycleaning and Laundry Expo East will be held June 7-9, 2024 in Florida. The Drycleaning and Laundry Expo West will be held October 4-6, 2024 in Las Vegas. In 2026, the DL Expo East will move to the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, and the DL Expo West will be held in Texas. The associations are still exploring options for 2028 and beyond. Apart from equipment exhibits, the shows will feature educational sessions and host several networking opportunities.
