In the Netherlands, Anthony Hendriks from CCD regularly stands in front of groups to teach participants about washing and finishing textiles, stain removal, safety, and hygiene. It seems to be going well, as even people in Poland have heard about it. This recently led to the training “Microbiology in Practice” being held on-site at Sovrana Polska for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn group of participants.
They learned about:
- The importance of hygiene
- How to perform hygiene checks themselves
- What is important when assessing samples correctly
- What follow-up actions are necessary in case of deviations
- The purpose of disinfection and when it should be applied.
