As part of their Silver status as an Armed Forces Covenant signatory, hygiene specialist Christeyns UK recently supported His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire’s Awards Ceremony in Huddersfield. At the event awards of high merit were presented to reservists, cadets and cadet force adult volunteers.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a commitment that acknowledges and understands that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives. As part of the firm’s commitment to the Covenant, the company is engaged in various other activities including attending a recruitment fair and a Cadet Day in York.
The company states to take pride in being a family-owned business and as such creating an inclusive culture, placing care and support for the employee at the forefront of its strategy and approach. This environment also stimulates and helps ex-military personnel in creating rewarding careers and developing transferable skills after their military service.
