JENSEN and Bringewatt: Partnership for sustainable laundry solutions

The JENSEN-GROUP and Wilhelm Bringewatt, founder of Bringewatt Beratung,
have agreed to collaborate on the development of forward-looking solutions for a
more sustainable laundry industry. The cooperation focuses on energy-efficient
technologies for ironers, finishing machines and dryers, as well as the gradual
transition to electric and hybrid-capable systems. The use of relevant patents is
also part of the cooperation.
Experience and Expertise for Energy-Efficient Laundries
Wilhelm Bringewatt holds a degree in laundry technology engineering and has
around 30 years of experience in the design and development of industrial
laundry machinery. For approximately 20 of these years, he worked as a Head of
Engineering and Development, with a particular focus on achieving maximum
energy efficiency. As a certified energy-efficiency expert for non-residential
buildings and industrial process technology, as well as a registered energy
auditor in accordance with DIN EN 16247, he advises commercial and industrial
laundries on process optimisation, reducing energy and utility consumption, and
planning future investments. He is also a member of the German Energy
Consultants Network.
Towards the electrification of laundries
The cooperation aims to enable laundries to operate entirely on electricity in the
long term. The partnership combines decades of experience in industrial laundry
technology with extensive expertise in energy efficiency, heat recovery and
climate-neutral processes. The objective is to develop technical solutions that
reduce energy and utility consumption, extend textile lifetimes and pave the way
for the electrification of laundries.
“We are delighted to have gained Wilhelm Bringewatt, a recognised expert and
true authority in industrial laundry technology, as a partner. His decades of
experience and extensive expertise in energy efficiency are extremely valuable
for the development of sustainable laundry solutions. Together, we want to
develop concrete solutions that support our customers on their journey towards
climate-neutral and ultimately fully electric laundries,” says Martin Rauch, CEO of
JENSEN.
