UNX-Christeyns has recently announced the presentation of the Cole & Wilson branded SULTRA solutions at this year’s Southwest Drycleaners Association’s in Dallas (US).
Their high performance dry-cleaning offerings include SULTRASOFT detergents that are to produce brightness and a fresh scent while removing water-soluble soils. A spotting chart in their booth shows how SULTRASPOT could be a line of spotting agents for dry/wet cleaning. SULTRASPOT’s advantages are stated to go further than removing dirt such as paint, oil and grease, as well as ink, protein and tannin stains.
The SULTRA product line is stated to be ideal for fine washable and dry cleanable textiles and doesn’t require a lot of re-cleaning. Consequently, it saves time and labour costs, according to Greg Toombs – the company’s sales director. He also stated that the new solutions are Prop 65 compliant products with no volatile compounds in the spotting agents. He added that newer stain challenges, such as gel pen ink, are often hard to remove, but the SULTRASPOT line has proven to be successful in that respect.
