Laundryheap captures Wast

Laundryheap – the on-demand laundry and dry cleaning platform – has announced the acquisition of Wast, which has been present in the Paris region since 2017. LaundryHeap continues its international development with a presence in 11 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and now France. Established in 2014, the company achieved 130% growth in 2022. During that year, the company also acquired its British competitor Laundrapp and acquired the consumer business of the British company Oxwash. With the acquisition of Wast, the company expands its scope of action in Paris.

The Wast brand is already being replaced by the new LaundryHeap brand, but team members will continue to work in the new entity. LaundryHeap intends to grow its Paris business by creating new B2B partnerships, including a new service designed for Airbnb. At the same time, the company aims to expand its services geographically and plans to introduce new services such as carpet repairs and cleaning. Finally, the next Olympic Games, to be held in Paris in 2024, will become a highlight of the operation.
