More than just a celebration, the ASLI Association organised its annual event on 13–14 September in Jakarta. Attended by more than 400 professionals, the event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange insights and work together to further advance Indonesia’s professional textile care industry. CINET was invited to present preliminary insights into the Indonesian PTC market. Based on the Strategy Study, Peter Wennekes presented an overview of trends and characteristics of the PTC market globally, in general, and Indonesia in particular.
In close cooperation with CINET the Indonesia Best Practices Awards 2026 was organised. Kilo-an / Self-Service, Retail Textile Cleaning and Industrial Textile Services companies gathered for the Indonesia Best Practices Awards. As part of the CINET Best Practices programme, the event gave participants the opportunity to present their businesses and demonstrate how Indonesia’s Professional Textile Care industry is developing.
A rapidly professionalising market
A key message from the event was the increasing level of professionalism across the Indonesian market. Participating companies showcased developments in processing, service concepts, sustainability, marketing, business organisation and customer experience. The ten participating companies received an Official Nominee Award, recognising their professional performance.

The CINET ITS Indonesia Overall Award 2026 was presented to ION Laundry. The international jury recognised the company’s professionalism, its ability to adapt to changing market circumstances and its approach to delivering effective services to its customers.

Innovations are no longer limited to processing technology, but increasingly extended to logistics, marketing, customer communication and new business models. The Innovation Award 2026 was presented to Antina Fresh Laundry 24 Jam, recognised for its entrepreneurial approach and strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
Independent jury evaluation
The participating companies were evaluated on a combination of Quality, Sustainability, Business Model & Service Concept, Innovation and their presentation. This reflects CINET’s broader Best Practices philosophy: successful textile care businesses combine professional operations with strong service, sustainable development and continuous innovation.
Building international connection via CINET
Overall Winner, ION Laundry will represent Indonesia as a finalist at the Global Best Practices Awards 2026 October in Milan Italy, connecting developments in the Indonesian market with the international Professional Textile Care industry.
Indonesia already has a strong history within the international Best Practices programme, with previous representatives including Jeeves, PT Jeevesindo Gemilang and Kota Laundry. The 2026 edition builds further on this international connection and introduces another generation of Indonesian companies to the global PTC network.
Looking ahead
The event demonstrated an industry that is developing rapidly and responding to higher expectations in quality, sustainability, innovation and customer service. With ten Official Nominees and three award winners, the Indonesia Best Practices Awards 2026 underlined the ambitions, professionalism and opportunities within the Indonesian PTC market.
