AFNOR NF Certification granted to SENSENE in France

AFNOR, the French Standardization Association responsible for the certification of dry cleaning machines, has granted SENSENE the status to be used in closed-loop dry-cleaning equipment in France. Safechem appointed Romera as its distribution partner for France.

SENSENE Modified Alcohol has been introduced to the global market in 2016, and the AFNOR NF Certification now opens the French market. Tobias Bertram, Business Development Manager of Safechem, the producer of SENSENE, is enthusiastic: “Today more than 300 machines are in operation globally. The AFNOR NF certification is a crucial step for operating dry cleaning machines with SENSENE in France and it opens new opportunities for dry cleaners to benefit from our latest innovation.”

Romera, SAFECHEM’s distribution partner for SENSENE is a leader in dry cleaning machine distribution in France. Romera has already delivered first fills of SENSENE to French dry-cleaners and reports positive feedback from customers: “We are excited that SENSENE can now be marketed in France. This new solvent with its excellent performance properties and favourable environmental profile fits very well with our dry cleaning machine offering. And first reactions from our customers show that they are extremely happy with the cleaning power and handling of SENSENE”, says Jean Philippe Ginard, Director of Romera France.

SENSENE is an innovation based on modified alcohols for high-quality textile cleaning. The solvent convinces all senses with its excellent cleaning performance, a pleasant smell and a great touch of the textiles, while cleaning in a gentle way. In terms of the environment and business sense, SENSENE sets new standards with both its formulation and with time and cost benefits.
