Alliance Laundry Systems to acquire Commercial & Coin Laundry Equipment Co.

Alliance Laundry Systems, a major global firm in commercial laundry equipment, has reached an agreement to purchase Commercial & Coin Laundry Equipment Co. (CLEC). The deal is expected to be finalized for closing in early March.

Mike Schoeb, CEO of Alliance Laundry Systems: “We are delighted to partner with a best-in-class operator, whose energy, passion and leadership are natural complements to our company. Furthermore, the laundry industry is undergoing a period of change and having a more direct presence makes sense in today’s market.”

CLEC has been serving the needs of commercial laundry customers since 1982. The company’s coverage area includes the Florida area, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, parts of Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana. It recently expanded into the Texas market and is known as one of the largest commercial laundry equipment distributors in the Southeast region. Craig Dakauskas, president of CLEC states: “This sale is a win-win for not just both entities, but most importantly, for customers in the areas we serve. Our team prides itself on a high level of service and the ability to use the resources of a larger company like Alliance will ensure our capability remains unmatched.”
