Burel joins Elis board

Anthoine Burel, deputy CEO in charge of operations at the Legrand Group and a member of the executive committee, was elected as a member of the Elis’ supervisory board in France and was also appointed chairman of its audit committee during the supervisory board meeting that took place on 20 February.

He joins the supervisory board as an independent member and has been appointed to replace Agnès Pannier-Runacher, who resigned after she took office in the French government. This appointment will be subject to shareholder approval during the Annual General Meeting that will take place on 23 May.

Antoine Burel joined Legrand in 1993, and followed an impressive career path. He started as financial controller, became financial and administrative manager of Legrand Normandy, director of financial controlling and finally the group’s chief financial officer.
