CINET November 2017 Activities

In November, CINET continued working for the Global Best Practices Awards 2018, finalizing details for the Italian National Awards and the Norwegian National Awards. You should expect to hear more news on this topic really soon. We also welcomed 6 new members to our family, coming from all over the world. Furthermore, our team had the chance to attend and present our activities and expert opinion in two events in East Europe: the 10th Hungarian Textile Cleaning Conference and the Russian Laundry & Drycleaning Association annual meeting.

10th Hungarian Textile Cleaning Conference, 7-9 November 2017

The 10th Hungarian Textile Cleaning Conference took place from the 7th until the 9th of November. The conference was well attended with 140 member registrations from TT-E (the Hungarian PTC association). The theme of the conference was ‘Individual ideas and solutions – supporting the successful textile cleaning’ with an aim to exchange expert opinion on how to develop the Hungarian PTC market. Ms. Gabriella Deme provided a contribution on CINET’s Global Best Practices Awards. She elaborated about the benefits of this program and how to enrol for the 2018 competition. Mr. Leon Wennekes, Secretary General of CINET, presented the latest trends in laundry focused on the digitization of the business. A big number of Hungarian PTC companies are expected to participate in the 2018 Global Best Practices Awards trying to defend the title Logo-Tex Kft won in the 2016 program. Logo-Tex Kft was the winner of the overall best practice award so the bar is set high for Hungarian representatives.
