Electrolux helps the homeless

Off The Fence,  a charitable organisation based in Brighton and Hove, was proud to launch our Hygiene For All van project in Brighton & Hove, put in place to ensure the homeless community always have access to their most basic need – Hygiene. This includes an Hygiene Van- delivering vital cleaning for the health and hygiene of individuals without homes. This also includes a Laundry Van, a mobile facility which provides a clothes washing service.

Electrolux Professional helped to kit out a mobile laundry van designed to help homeless people. The commercial laundry equipment manufacturer donated two myPRO washing machines and two dryers. Electrolux also installed the machines inside a specially-adapted van as part of the organisation’s Antifreeze project. The mobile laundry van will thus provide individuals with an opportunity to regularly wash and dry their garments for free.
