GBPAP2020 Pre-Selection: Russia’s Dynamic PTC Market

Due to the current pandemic circumstances, this year’s Texcare Forum Russia was organised on October 1st as a virtual event, together with the Russian Laundry & Drycleaners Association in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt and partners. It was a successful event that started in the morning sessions with a panel in which the attendants discussed about market changes and the need for the Russia Professional Textile Care companies to adapt to the challenging market conditions and exploit growth through developing new market segments and new business models. The program of lectures and discussions aimed to strengthen the information and experience exchange and address the main topics that can accelerate the sector’s further development in Russia.

CINET and the Russian Laundry & Drycleaners Association have a long and fruitful cooperation. During this year’s Forum, the keynote-speaker was CINET President & CEO Peter Wennekes who delivered a presentation on Digitization and Innovation as drives for growth in Corona times. He underlined  the need for professionals in the industry to embrace the digitization field and the results that can be achieved through it.

 

iCleaning wins the online Russian Best Practices Awards Pre-selections

During the afternoon of the same virtual event, The Russian Best Practices Awards were organized by the National Laundry & Drycleaning Association and CINET, as part of the pre-selections chapters in CINET’s Global Best Practices Awards Program 2020. Some of the best Russian RTC companies were selected to pitch their profiles online as Official Nominees during the National Pre-selections and win a place in the GBPAP2020 Final (virtually from Amsterdam, Nov 4-5).

Retail Textile Cleaning. It was a tough competition, which displayed the focus on quality and innovation in the Russian PTC sector. After the pitches evaluation, the Russian Jury declared iCleaning Moscow as the National Overall Best Practices Winner RTC, thanks to the impeccable focus on quality and a customer-centric business model that is well-perceived among the premium segment of consumers in the Moscow. iCleaning will represent Russia at the Global Best Practices Awards Final (RTC-B category)
