German Wäscherei Kellner’s laundry facility renewed

During the past few months a WSP team have been at work at the premises of Wäscherei Kellner in Germany.

In this extensive project various new innovations are being implemented, such as the completely improved WSP bag rail system lift. With this servo-driven lift it will be possible to move items at high speeds while still accurately positioning to the millimetre. Thus enabling short cycle times and making traditional fold-out rails to connect to the fixed part of the bag rail system unnecessary.

In this project WSP is responsible for delivering a soiled sorting system, a soiled laundry bag rail system and a clean laundry bag rail system, including conveyor belts to the work stations on the finishing lines. In addition, an expedition conveyor system is being installed behind the ironers and towel folders. This includes the fully automated selection of packets containing laundry.

Regarding software as well, the latest innovations are being applied in this project. Currently, final adjustments are being made to the implementation and final testing of WinWash 2.0, so that it will be ready for use at short notice. All in all, Wäscherei Kellner will have gained the latest innovations in the field of logistics control and management information.
