Latest news about the Global Best Practice Awards 2018

Following the successful first edition of the PTC Global Best Practice Awards (GBPA) in 2016, CINET is now preparing for the new edition of 2018. The GBPA2018 will be even bigger, with 150 participating nominees from over 40 countries. CINET is welcoming members to nominate laundry and dry cleaning businesses. Both new and previous candidates can register for the awards program now!


New initiative; Preselections for The Global Best Practice Awards

CINET has set up this new initiative to profile Global PTC Business Models of Best Practices. The Global Best Practice Awards Ceremony will take place during EXPOdetergo period in Milan, October 19th, 2018. CINET members worldwide are invited to apply nominees for these prestigious awards.

There is no registration fee, the top 40 candidates will be invited to Milan with a special invitation from CINET. The top 150 candidates will receive free 2-page editorial in Volume no. 6 of the “The World of PTC” series with its own Corporate Profile of Best Practices. Naturally participating companies receive of this volume, which will offer you a global overview of Best Practices in Retail Textile Cleaning and Industrial Laundering, all together Professional Textile Care (PTC).

There will be an Overall global winner in 2 categories: Retail Textile Cleaning and Industrial Textile Services, both to be rewarded with the CINET Global PTC Award 2016. Furthermore, there will be special awards for Innovation as well as for Sustainability for both categories. These Awards will be accompanied with great PR and promotion for the participants and the PTC industry as a whole.


National Awards

New in this edition will be national awards to precede the Global Best Practice Awards. Agreements for a national awards program have been established in several countries by now: France, UK, Italy, The Netherlands, China, Indonesia, Norway and the CEE-region, . The Overall winners of the national awards will be automatically invited to participate in the GBPAP2018.


Evaluation Global Awards

An independent Jury of representatives from trade magazines and national associations over the world will evaluate all nominations for the Global Awards. These are the National Award Winners and Nominees directly registered for the GBPAP2018.

The International Jury will use the same criteria and include the reference of the country of origin in their judgement. Different from the 2016 edition is the commitment that all participants of the program will be officially visited by a jury member.
