10th Hungarian Textile Cleaning Conference: 140 members exchanging thoughts for business development

The 10th Hungarian Textile Cleaning Conference took place from the 7th until the 9th of November. The wonderful ‘Mali’ themed four star Hotel Bambara in Felsőtárkány was set for the location. The conference was well attended with 140 member registrations from TT-E (the Hungarian PTC association). The theme of the conference was ‘Individual ideas and solutions – supporting the successful textile cleaning’ aiming to exchange thoughts on how to develop the Hungarian PTC market..

Conference program

The conference had a full program of interesting speakers providing the latest trends, market developments, opportunities and technologies. Ms. Gabriella Deme provided a contribution on CINET’s Global Best Practices Awards. She elaborated about the benefits of this program and how to enroll for the 2018 competition. Furthermore the success story of the Hungarian participants in previous events was shared. In the 2016 Global Awards program industrial laundry Logo-tex kft. was the winner of the overall best practice award so the bar is set high for Hungarian representatives!

Besides the other useful contributions during the conference Mr. Leon Wennekes, Secretary General of CINET, presented the latest trends in laundry focused on the digitization of the business. There are a lot of opportunities in PTC for business development, by providing examples from abroad the Hungarian laundries can benchmark their current operation and get new ideas.

The Hungarian National  Textile Cleaning Association is organizing this conference, with support from the Hungarian Scientific Association of Textiles (TMTE). On CINET behalf we’d like to congratulate TT-E with the well-organized event with good attendance. A special ‘hats off’ to Ms. Király Valéria for bringing the Hungarian industry closer together and setting up a good environment for professional networking combined with social activities.
