ImageFirst – a major provider of laundry services for the US healthcare industry – announced that it has promoted Jim Cashman to president and chief executive officer. He is to replace founder/CEO Jeff Berstein, who is moving to the role of vice chairman. Berstein will also continue as an active member of the company’s board of directors.
Cashman joined the company in early 2019 as president. The company states that over the past 15 months, his leadership contributed to both organic and acquisitive growth, service excellence, and operational progress. Prior to that, Cashman has had 30 years of leadership experience in the textile rental and industrial services sectors. He spent the majority of his early career with Aramark Uniform Services, ultimately becoming the senior vice president of its East Region. He has also held senior positions with various other companies in the sector.
Cashman will assume the president and chief executive officer roles immediately, running the business on a day-to-day basis.
