JET EXPO 2017 in Paris big success!

PARIS – The seventh edition of JET EXPO, the leading French laundry show, was successfully organized in Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles, from the 14th to the 16th of October, 2017. JET EXPO has gathered a good number of visitors coming from France and french speaking countries. A highlight at JET EXPO were the French Best Practice Awards, where companies of the Textile Cleaning and Textile Services sectors presented their profiles, with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Innovations.

The CINET events held within the framework of JET EXPO 2017 also proved to be popular. The program included the annual General Assembly CINET (presentation available for CINET members here), two workshops (one focusing on Innovation and Laundry on Demand Applications and a second on the Latest Trends in Textile Services), along with a Masterclass in wet cleaning, where the Solvetex VI research program was presented.

The French Best Practice Awards

Aiming to promote Best Practices in the textile care and textile services industry, CINET – in partnership with Jet Expo and Entretien Textile magazine – has organized the 2017 French Best Practice Awards (JET EXPO Trophies). The French Best Practice Awards Program stimulates the implementation of best practice measures, service aspects, marketing and quality of the professional textile care industry and demonstrates its capabilities. The second workshop session explored the latest trends in Textile Services, including the project Data2Move: Laundry, an Ecotool live demo of a web-based tool to completely analyse the eco-footprint, and information on the World of PTC Business school, Global Best Practice Awards Program 2018, and the CERCLEAN® international certification. CINET members can view the two workshops’ presentations at JET EXPO here!

Masterclass in Wet cleaning

The Masterclass in Wet cleaning organized on Saturday 14th gathered a large number of presenting companies and visitors. CINET presented information on the benchmark study “Solvetex VI, The Worldwide standard in Wet cleaning” that aims to cover the need for independent information on the performance of new wet clean processes in terms of cleaning performance, textile product quality, process conditions (including finishing) and required knowhow. A series of pitch presentations from Solvetex VI wet cleaning suppliers (Alliance, BÜFA, Cole & Willson, Electrolux, Kreussler and Seitz) offered hands on insight on the wet cleaning standards of the industry. CINET members can view the masterclass presentations at JET EXPO here!
