Kevin Minissian memorial fund supports water treatment and recycling projects

The family of Kevin Minissian,  the late CEO of Norchem Corp – together with staff from the laundry chemical company he founded – recently established a memorial fund in his name. Minissian died on 23 November 2021 following a shooting incident in California.

The Kevin Minissian Memorial Fund will support students in water-treatment and recycling technologies. Minissian dedicated over 40 years of research in finding ways to improve the efficiency and environmental performance of commercial laundries across North America. One of his passion projects included an active partnership with the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, where he was participating on an advanced electrochemical project working closely with the Hoffmann Lab.

The memorial fund is to be a tribute to his research with Caltech faculty members on water-treatment issues. According to a statement by the company – where family and staff are still mourning the loss of their founder and leader – the company remains fully operational and available to assist customers and prospects. It was stated that the development of the Norchem brand will be continued with pride and commitment.
