LaundryHeap orders electric vehicles for global deliveries

Electric Assisted Vehicles Limited (EAV) – UK-based sustainable zero-emissions transport manufacturers – has confirmed that a substantial order of 200 EAV2Cubed has been placed by LaundryHeap. The vehicles are to be delivered during the latter part of 2021 and throughout 2022.

Operating in Europe, the USA, Asia and the Middle East, the  company will be using the EAV2Cubeds in all its international locations.

Founded by Deyan Dimitrov in 2014, the company offers direct-to-door laundry and drycleaning services to consumer and business customers, including various city-based brands. The platform allows users to have their laundry collected, washed, ironed, and returned to them in a guaranteed turnaround time of 24 hours. The business is growing rapidly. Not only by their pandemic offering of a ‘virus wash’ which has remained a success in the post-pandemic world. But also by their focus on green cleaning techniques.

Leo Bethell – head of business partnerships at EAV – states that companies like LaundryHeap have environmental sustainability at the heart of their operations, but also need the highest levels of efficiency and performance to achieve their business objectives.  Using eCargo bikes in urban environments is much more efficient and effective than vans, combustion engine or electric.  We’re lighter and quicker and easier to operate.
