Lips+ Goes wins FTN Energy Award 2017

Lips+ Goes is the winner of the FTN Energy Award 2017, organized every year in the Netherlands.  The Federatie Textielbeheer Nederland (FTN) announced the winner at a spectacular ceremony on Thursday, November 17, in Den Bosch,  during the National Symposium Textile Management 2017. The nominated companies were Berendsen B.V. (Uden), CleanLease BV (Ooij), Lips+ B.V (Goes), Modeluxe Linnen Services B.V (Leiden) and Wasserij De Blinde B.V. (Heerenveen). Mr. William Harte, business manager Lips+ Goes received the prize and the accompanying certificate from the hands of Stef de Win, chairman of the FTN. All nominees received a certificate, because they presented excellent energy saving results.

The FTN awards is a prestigious yearly competition for PTC companies who achieve significant energy savings. The purpose is to stimulate innovation and thus contribute to sustainability in the textile services industry. Energy saving is an important goal for all textile services companies.  The last few years the Energy Award has substantially supported and promoted the PTC industry’s efforts. It is worth noting that the last 20 years the energy reduction in the dutch sector sums up to over 50%, with 12,6% over the past four years and 3,7% in 2016.
