Making Laundromat Time Your Down Time

Doing your laundry is a way to carve out a bit of time to allow you to relax, recharge or give full concentration to a task or activity that isn’t receiving the time it needs.  A trip to the local laundromat can kill more than two birds with one stone.

If you let your laundry build up to a point where you can cart it all off to the laundromat and tackle it all in one go, you can not only save time, but you can also save money.

With the high speed, high capacity and high-temperature commercial machines found at a laundromat you can easily tackle a full week’s worth of laundry in less than two hours.  If your load is unusually large and the laundromat is quiet, you can use multiple machines to do everything all at once. You don’t really have this option when doing laundry at home.

Catch up on your reading, spend some time on social media, do some knitting or take the time to pay your bills for the month.  However, you use the time in the laundromat is up to you and you only.
