NETEX 100 years; a successful anniversary day!

Saturday 13th of April, a sunny day and a good mood, the ideal ingredients for a successful anniversary day in the beautiful castle in Ophemert . The members’ meeting and workshops were well attended, followed by a reception to celebrate the 100th anniversary. There were various speeches in which the congratulations were conveyed and while enjoying delicious snacks and drinks there was a nice chat.

There were various workshops. Henk Gooijer gave the workshops “Comparative research on solvents” and “Wet cleaning and Professional textile cleaning; the most sustainable solution”. The first workshop involved two major investigations, Solvetex VI and Solvetex VII, which were conducted by TKT. In Solvetex VI, the different wet cleaners were compared with an international standard. And in Solvetex VII the new solvents have been compared with the use of PER as investigated in Solvetex I. The second workshop was about the research that TKT conducted, comparing the sustainability aspects of home washing versus professional washing.

Ton Holtkamp, ​​member of the board of Bosatex, spoke fascinatingly about the pleasant collaboration with NETEX.

A number of people were thanked for their contribution to the industry. For example, Joke Elzerman received flowers and a certificate as a thank you for her commitment to the terms of employment committee.
