NY-based White Plains Linen expands to national US market by launching E-commerce Division

White Plains Linen which supplies linen in the New York metropolitan area, recently launched a new E-commerce division. With ‘Wholesale Chefwear’ the company intends to supply hospitality customers with a wide variety of back-of-house items including chef coats, uniforms, aprons, hats, hair nets, vinyl gloves, floor mats and rugs, bar mops, towels, and more.

Apart from that the new division is to offer affordable customization for all items. Restaurants can have their logo embroidered on apparel and floor care items for a great first impression to customers.

The idea for the venture was inspired by an opportunity to serve restaurants outside of the company’s current service area – including New York City, the lower Hudson Valley, Northern New Jersey and Western Connecticut.

White Plains Linen CEO Bruce Botchman : “We have been overwhelmed with new restaurants looking for a reliable linen supplier that will give them good personal attention, but expanding our service area would have stretched us too thin. That’s when we decided to take on the role of a distributor to our brands so we could help hospitality establishments across the country gain access to quality back-of-house products at wholesale prices.”
