Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo merge into a major platform for PTC in Asia!

At the China laundry expo 2018 – a PTC trade show with 23.000 m2 floor space and 20.000 visitors – the merger between China Laundry Expo and Texcare Asia was announced during a press conference.

All important partners and stakeholders were present at the press conference to reveal the exciting news and inform about further plans for the future. The details for the collaboration are still to be finalized but the idea is to keep on having one show a year, both organized in Shanghai. The government supports the merger of the two shows to benefit the laundry industry.

Mr Pan Wei commented that the large laundry market in China is at a good phase to merge these two shows: “the China Laundry Expo and Texcare Asia will be combined to help build an ideal business platform, better promote the development of the industry and fully demonstrate the opportunities and challenges of the industry.”

Ms. Ruth Lorenz of Messe Frankfurt was also pleased with the two exhibitions merging. “The cooperation with China International Dyeing Industry Exhibition will make effective use of industry resources in Asia, especially China. The two exhibitions will be promoted to jointly create a larger and more comprehensive industry exhibition. The joint exhibition will include all the product chains in the fields of dry cleaning, washing, dyeing, chemicals, disinfection, leather care, textile rental and IT solutions.”

For 2019 the joint exhibition will be organized at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in the fall. It will be co-sponsored by the China Business Federation Dyeing and Dyeing Professional Committee, Guangdong Xinzhilian Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., Frankfurt Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and China Light Industry Machinery Association. The projected display area is aimed to reach 30,000 square meters, attracting about 300 leading companies from China and abroad and some 25,000 industry buyers will gather together.
