The United Wardrobe online app, active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, where fashion-conscious users can buy and sell second-hand clothes, has reached four million users. Consumers seem to be more and more aware that second-hand clothing can be a sustainable solution to continue to enjoy fashion while taking current climate conditions seriously.
The app was founded in 2014 by three students from Wageningen University. United Wardrobe now has 40 employees, the company is active in 4 countries and it has second-hand clothing available for the whole family. In recent years, the platform has brought together 4 million second-hand fashion enthusiasts who have added more than 15 million products of all styles and sizes to the platform.
Easy to use
Every day, the app presents its users with a selection of items that match their style and preferences. When a nice item is found, the social interaction begins. Items can be favorite, commented on and chat with the seller. A support team is available at every stage of the purchase to ensure the purchase is secure and the experience is optimal.
